Microsoft Outlook Express Instructions for SMTP Authentication Step 1: Go to Tools ---> Email Accounts. Then click on your domain's email account and click the Properties button to edit. Within the properties dialog box click on the Servers tab and change the Outgoing mail server (SMTP): to asp-0-submit.reflexion.net . Then check the box that says "My server requires authentication". Next click the Settings button.
Step 2: After clicking the Settings button a new popup appears. Click "Log on using", in the account name box enter your email address and under password enter the password specified in your setup email. This password will contain a color, animal and number. Then click OK.
Step 3: Go to the Advanced tab in the properties box and underneath Outgoing mail (SMTP) check off "This server requires a secure connection (SSL). Then click the OK button and close the Internet Accounts box. Then change the Outgoing port number to 587. Before selecting the okay button review the outgoing settings to ensure they match the settings below. Once the settings have been updated send a test message to your account.

You've changed the Outgoing (SMTP) Setting then click "More Settings" Once this is complete click on the "Advanced" tab. Step 3: Within the "Advanced" tab, underneath "Outgoing Server (SMTP):" check "This server requires an SSL-secured connection." Then change the outgoing port number to 587. Click OK and then Finish and try to send a test message. If you are using Outlook 2007 please see the alternate settings on second image below.
If you are using Outlook 2007 instead of using the SSL setting you will need to select TLS for "Use the following type of encrypted connection" OUTLOOK 2007 Settings

Changing Outbound SMTP Server on Mozilla Thunderbird Step 1: Go to Tools --> Account Settings
Step 2: Under “Outgoing Server (SMTP),” change the server name to the ASP server you are setup on asp-0-submit.reflexion.net. Change the default port from 25 to 587. Enter in your email address and select TLS under “Use secure connection”.
Step 3: Select your primary account and verify that “Outgoing Server (SMTP)” is set to the server that was configured in Step 3.
When prompted for a password, you need to enter in the password that was sent within the setup email. This password will contain a color, animal and number. If you change this password within the online email portal you will need to change it also within Eudora. Once complete, send test messages to ensure setup is correct.

Changing Outbound SMTP Server on Qualcomm Eudora Step 1: Go to Tools --> Options.
Step 2: Change the SMTP Server to asp-0-submit.reflexion.net . Pull-down the "Secure Sockets when Sending" menu, and select Required, STARTTLS.
Try to send a test message. The first outbound message you send will prompt you for a password. This is the password that was sent to you within your setup email. This password will contain a color, animal and number. If you change this password within the online email portal you will need to change it also within Eudora. |
